Have you ever wanted to build a time machine and start all over? You know, hit the reset button and rewind to a certain moment, a crucial time in which making a left instead of a right would have changed the script of your life forever. Of course you have, we all have. Time machines don't exist (or do they?) and regret is universal. The trick is to master that emotion or longing and use it, build it, shape it into the next path you want to take. Missed opportunities do not just disappear, they mingle and lie dormant until you're ready to acknowledge them once again. They may have changed or been tweaked, metamorphosed into something almost unrecognizable. But they still exist. And most importantly, they are still yours. Yours to seize and hold tight. So make that phone call, apply for that position, take that class, reach out to that long lost friend, ask the guy out, book that bucket list trip.
